ARTD 270 - 2D Animation I

This course is an introduction to principles of storyboarding, animatics, and 2D animation. Students explore the basic principles of animation and narrative language to develop an understanding of effective composition, visual storytelling principles, semiotics, color, character, and performance. Students will develop skills in tractional 2D animation draftsmanship and software.
Prerequisite(s): ARTD 180 or permission of instructor.
Course Frequency: ALT F (even years)
