ARTD 185 - Art Foundations: 3D Design 3 Credit(s)
This course is an introduction to three-dimensional concepts, critical and formal vocabulary, and production of dimensional art and design. Students will explore the language of visual, physical, and functional 3D art and design through investigation, analysis, and problem solving. This is a studio course, so students will be introduced to a range of tools, materials, processes, and techniques.

Learning Outcomes: 1.Demonstrate an understanding of three-dimensional concepts, critical and formal vocabulary, and the production of dimensional art. 2.Demonstrate exploration and comprehension of language, physical properties, and functional opportunities of three-dimensional art and design. 3.Demonstrate research and knowledge in their field through investigation of artists, artworks, and trends. 4.Demonstrate their ability to problem-solve and to be self-motivated and self-sufficient.
