ORGL 514 - Decision Making for Leadership Development 3 Credit(s)
Mastering leadership decision-making is a critical success factor for the 21st century professional. The course develops the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors leaders need to make ethical, credible, and reliable business decisions. Through a detailed review of methods, principles and theories on effective decision-making, a leadership perspective is taken to examine the factors that influence decision-making from a psychological, sociological, and anthropological perspective. Students will develop the aptitude for answering difficult questions, examine the internal and external factors that influence business decision-making, and evaluate ethical implications of leadership decision-making.
Prerequisite(s): GRAD 400 /GRAD 500 and ORGL 404 /ORGL 504
Grading Method: Letter grade.
