The Music Production and Technology curriculum prepares students for careers in various sectors of the music industry. Students explore core competencies in general music and music production, then specialize in one of two tracks. The Business Track incorporates courses from the School of Business and is designed to provide students with additional tools to succeed as business professionals and entrepreneurs in the music industry. The Scoring for Digital Media track helps students hone the skills they need to create music for film, video games, and other media through courses in composition, orchestration, game audio and film scoring. The complementary music performance minor provides students with an opportunity to build their musical skills through the study and performance of vocal and/or instrumental music.
