BIOL 400 - Biology Research Capstone

Biology majors work closely with a faculty member in a small group of students to complete hands-on primary research project in the area of expertise of the professor. Results are presented at the completion of the project.
Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of a minimum of 8 credits of upper-level 300/400 biology courses or permission from the instructor.

Grading Method: Student option.
Learning Outcomes:
- Perform primary literature searches related to research projects.
- Collect and analyze data for the appropriate fields.
- Compose a paper and poster presentation to display effective oral and written communication.
