ARTD 493 - Art and Design Practicum 1 Credit(s)
This course is focused on the creation of a focused body of work based on independently conducted research, writing and studio production. Course components include periodic faculty/peer critique, an exhibition of work created, and a public presentation regarding the research conducted.
Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor and ARTD 492 .
Course Frequency: F, S
Grading Method: Student Option.
Learning Outcomes: 1.Professionally organize and present an exhibition/ portfolio/ event that highlights a coherant body of own work.2.Demonstrate media knowledge and technical skill to produce original professional work.
