ARTD 340 - Introduction to Printmaking 3 Credit(s)
This course provides a survey of traditional and non-traditional printmaking techniques, introducing students to a variety of basic printmaking processes including fundamentals of paper, inks, presses, printing and editioning. Students will use intaglio, relief, lithography and screen-printing to create a cohesive body of work, highlighting both additive and subtractive mark making.
Prerequisite(s): ARTD 195 or permission of the instructor.
