AGSC 215 - Agroecology

This course is the study of relationships between plants, animals, people and their environment as they pertain to animal and plant husbandry.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 163  or AGSC 200  or AGSC 201 .

Course Frequency: ALT F (even years)

Grading Method: Student option.

Learning Outcomes:
  1. Evaluate the ways in which general ecological principles can be applied to agricultural production.
  2. Identify major agricultural practices that incorporate sustainability.
  3. Identify opportunities in agricultural systems where crop and livestock production can be made synergistic.
