AGBU 340 - Applied Agricultural Financial Management 3 Credit(s)
This applied financial management course teaches students basic technique for analysis of agricultural business performance. Students gain a basic understanding of credit analysis and lending, borrowers, lending institutions and financial markets. Topics include capital budgeting, tax considerations, debt restructuring, analysis of financial statements. Special considerations such as seasonality, farm credit system, real estate dominance, sources and uses of funds are also introduced.
Prerequisite(s): FINC 306 .
